In memoriam
Remembering Dr. Stafford L. Hood
Dr. Stafford L. Hood was a scholar, educator and mentor who helped advance culturally responsive evaluation and assessment. In 2011 he founded the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment (CREA). His work challenged racial and cultural bias and advocated for evaluation that recognizes communities' experiences and perspectives. He passed away in January 2023.
